President
Suhail Mayor (09/2020 - 04/2021)
Suhail is an LL.M. student studying International Financial Law at King's College London. Prior to his masters, he completed his Bachelor of Laws with a High Upper-Second Class Honours at Royal Holloway, University of London. During his time there he co-founded the university's Law and Criminology Gazette acting as Editor In Chief and also gained pro bono experience as a Senior Student Advisor at their Legal Advice Centre. Born and raised in Dubai, across his studies, he has had the opportunity to intern across civil and common law jurisdictions working predominantly within corporate finance, private client and civil litigation; completing summer schemes at top global law firms like Pinsent Masons and Gowling WLG. Suhail intends on qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales practising in Financial Technology and blockchain ventures.
As President of the PGLS, he is responsible for setting the strategic direction for the society, coordinating and supporting the society´s activities to ensure their well-execution, and overseeing the society´s financial planning. He also acts as the main point of communication between the KCL Postgraduate Law Society and The Dickson Poon School of Law, the KCL Students´ Union, and other strategic partners.

Yazan Jondi (04/2021-08/2021)
Yazan is an LL.M. student studying International Financial Law at King’s College London. He completed his undergraduate degree in international law and economics at Erasmus University Rotterdam, where he graduated with Honours. He was also a member of the Honours programme of his university and participated in numerous extracurricular activities including representing the university at a moot-court competition and successfully co-founding a refugee aid organization. Yazan also subsequently completed his English law studies by achieving a Distinction on the Graduate Diploma in Law. During these years, he has interned at top global law firms like Eversheds Sutherlands and White & Case and has also gained pro bono experience. Yazan intends on qualifying as a solicitor in England and Wales practising in capital markets and finance.

Treasurer
Bhavna Raghuvanshi
Bhavna is pursuing the International Tax pathway LLM, having previously worked for a few years as a Corporate Tax Advisor at Grant Thornton UK LLP. She is a UK qualified Tax Compliance practitioner and will be simultaneously studying towards the Chartered Institute of Taxation's Advanced Diploma in International Tax professional qualification while pursuing her LLM at KCL.
As Treasurer, Bhavna is primarily responsible for reporting funds and accounts, making and receiving payments, monitoring the funds, and raising funds through grants and sponsorship. Additionally, she engages with the organization of social and networking events where necessary and assists the committee with any other tasks in order to complete them promptly and efficiently.

Vice President
Sibylle Brebant
Sibylle is an LLM student pursuing the International Business Law pathway. Prior to coming to King’s College London, she completed a Bachelor’s and a Master’s in International Law at the University of Paris II Panthéon-Assas, and studied one year at University College Dublin while also undertaking a summer course in English law at the London School of Economics. During her studies she has had the opportunity to intern with the Creteil High Court of Justice in their contract and tort law division, and in a French law firm. Sibylle would like to qualify as a lawyer in France specialising in information technology and international business law
As Vice-President of the PGLS, her role is to assist the president in guiding the overall strategy of the society, managing planning of events along with the other committee members and overseeing the student outreach.

and Social Secretary
Dimitri Delyannis
Dimitri is currently pursing the LL.M. in International Financial Law. Previously, he completed his LL.B. at Oxford Brookes University achieving a High Upper-Second Class with Honours, as well as the LPC with Merit at City Law School in London. He is of Greek descent; however, he was born in Johannesburg, South Africa and has lived most of his life in Lausanne, Switzerland. During the course of his studies, he completed vacation schemes at law firms HFW in Geneva and Eversheds Sutherlands in Doha. Ultimately, he intends to qualify as a solicitor in England & Wales and is interested in working in-house in the areas of Banking and Compliance.
As Vocational Officer and Social Secretary, Dimitri is responsible for organizing events that will help PGLS members to develop their professional career further. He liaises with law firms and other institutional partners to organize vocational events such as workshops, conferences, a tour of judicial organizations and networking events. He also helps the different teams to bring up ideas in order to organize events that could benefit his fellow students, as well as, contacting different law firms to invite them to participate.

MA/MSc Representative
Sherly Gunawan
Sherly is an MSc student studying in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution. She is an Indonesian qualified attorney and a 2020/2021 Chevening scholar from Indonesia. She completed her bachelor’s degree in University of Surabaya, Indonesia, in which she graduated with Summa Cum Laude distinction. Currently, Sherly is a Senior Associate at Dentons HPRP in Jakarta, with a practice focus on commercial litigation, alternative dispute resolution, and labor law. Prior to that she was with Norton Rose Fullbright.
As the MA/MSc Representative, her focus is on strengthening and solidifying the presence, as well as the interdepartmental engagement, of MA and MSc students of the Dickson Poon School of Law in the PGLS and will act as a link to the PGLS for any students’ queries, concerns, and feedbacks.
