Millennium Capital Partners - Legal intern
Millenium Capital Partners is a global investment management firm who are looking to hire students interested in gaining in-house experience for a 10 week internship over summer.
•THE ROLE
The intern will be working in the European Legal team gaining exposure to different areas of the business. This experience will allow the intern to increase their knowledge of various corporate and financial laws and to make the transition from education to practice.
•PRINICPAL RESPONSIBILITIES
1. Support a team of legal professionals on various projects, gaining exposure to a wide range of legal topics (e.g. reviewing NDAs and contracts)
2. Keep abreast and inform others of legal and regulatory changes: researching and drafting impact analysis of forthcoming legislation
3. Corporate governance: Prepare board packs, attend board meetings and draft minutes of meetings
4. Liaise with external counsel
